What is hCG and how does it work?

hCG (human Chorionic Gonadotropin) is a hormone naturally produced by the body during pregnancy. Low doses of hCG can be used to acheive a healthy weight as it helps to mobilize stored fat. Using hCG in this way does not mimic pregnancy and can be safely and effectively used by both men and women. All hCG used for medical purposes is natural, but created in laboratories from sterile cells.

Is hCG safe?

Low-dose, prescription hCG is extremely safe. Our program is doctor-supervised, so a complex medical history and physical examination will be performed before you begin the protocol. This will ensure that the program is right for you and that you have the support needed to achieve long-lasting results.

Will I be hungry on the hCG program?

Because hCG mobilizes fat stores and makes it available to the body as an energy source, it naturally reduces appetite. The vast majority of clients report that they do not feel hungry, have plenty of energy and feel the best they’ve felt in years.

How much fat can I expect to reduce on the program?

Most patients report losing between 0.5 to 3 pounds of fat weight per day, and claim it is the only program where they have been able to maintain the reduction afterwards. Often, people reduce a higher percentage of their total loss in the first two weeks.  Though there is no guarantee of fat reduction, it is reasonable to expect what most patients report.

Do I have to exercise while on the hCG diet?

No. Exercise is not a mandatory part of the program. Vigorous exercise may reduce the amount of fat weight you lose while on this plan, and is not recommended. Our suggestion for those who want to exercise while on the program, is that you incorporate 20-30 minutes of movement each day. After the hCG diet and you are back to a regular (healthy) diet, you can then increase the intensity of your exercise routine.

What makes the hCG plan different?

After finishing the plan, most people have only lost adipose tissue and not lean muscle mass, as with many diets. A large number of people are able to keep the fat off after they finish the diet because their bodies have reset their metabolism. Following the low calorie portion of the diet, a customized maintenance plan will help patients solidify the fat loss and stabilize at their new set weight. Most people are able to adapt healthy lifestyle changes and permanently enjoy their new slimmer and healthier bodies.

In the early 1950s, Dr. A.T.W. In 2007, the hCG diet once again gained popularity by the author Kevin Trudeau when he released his book called “The Weight Loss Cure, What THEY Don’t Want You To Know”.  Prior to this time, the diet was available and being used by Hollywood actors and socialites and those that could afford specialty weight loss clinics. Because more and more people were trying the diet, and getting amazing results, it has become one of the most sought after and searched diet on the internet today.

Getting started:

All programs begin with establishing care with the doctor. Your initial visit will include a complete health history and medical evaluation. If you have had lab work done by another doctor in the last year, please bring copies with you to your first visit. You can also have our admin team request these records from your other doctors. Additional lab work may be ordered to assure the program is right for you.

There are a few program options depending on how much fat you need to reduce:

  • 3 Week Protocol – For those needing to lose between 10 and 15 pounds
  • 6 Week Protocol – Recommended for those needing to lose 20+ pounds (up to 40lbs)

If you have greater than 40 pounds to lose, several rounds may be considered, with breaks in between to give your body a rest. All programs will include a personalized maintenance program to ensure long-term success.

You will be given a workbook that will guide you through your diet journey and provide 20+ pages of delicious recipes to choose from.  Your program will include three 15-minute phone consults, 5 weeks of email support and hCG supplies.  Any recommended supplements are not included in the program cost at this time.
