Cleanses

JujuBeet offers 3 different cleanses, in addition to custom cleanses to meet the customer’s need.

  • Beginner Cleanse : Juicing until Dinner. This package includes 1 smoothie, 3 juices, and 1 elixir, and we recommend a vegan, plant-based meal for dinner.
  • Signature Cleanse : 1 Smoothie, 5 juices, and 2 elixirs.
  • Pro Cleanse : 6 juices, 2 elixirs.  In this cleanse, we add some healthy fats to increase absorption of nutrients and help some feel a bit fuller.

A common time frame for our cleanses is 3 days, with proper attention paid to the time entering and exiting the cleanse, but a cleanse can be absolutely any length of time. In our cleanses and our juices in general, we use the minimum amount of fruit necessary to make the juice palatable, and we only use low-sugar fruit to do so. In order for your juice to be extra fresh (especially important in the case of the cleanses that include a smoothie), we recommend picking up each morning of your cleanse rather than all at once. To ensure that you have maximum nutrient density, the fresher the better! Our cleanse clients have access to our on-staff Holistic Registerd Dietitian and also our Registered Dietitian.

Centrifigual vs. Cold-Pressed

In a centrifugal juicer, a blade is spun at a very high speed to tear apart produce before pushing it through a filter to extract the juice from the pulp. The convenience of a centrifugal juicer is great, and it is the fasted juicing method out there with a small amount of clean up.

The downside to this process is that the fast spinning blade adds heat and more exposure to air, two things that cut down on the amount of nutrients making it into your cup. Also, centrifugal juicers are not able to extract quite as much juice from the pulp, losing out on nutrients and hiking up the grocery bill.

In a cold-pressed or masticating juicer, the produce is slowly pulverized and no heat is produced, retaining more nutrients. Because of the hydraulic press in a cold-pressed juicer, the pulp left behind is very dry, a sign that as much juice as possible is extracted from the produce. The juice produced is these juicers is by far superior, and that is why we focus a lot of energy on producing the best organic juice possible.
