About Me
As both a Colon Hydrotherapist and Co-Manager of the Tummy Temple Care Coordinator Team, I serve to offer a bridge between both worlds. I desire to hear and hold each client and practitioner’s experience as they arise. I also have a fondness for observing and improving systems, evidenced in my administrative work and supporting clients to pinpoint small lifestyle shifts, producing positive change.
While I enjoy working with all types of people, regardless of where they are on their journey, I especially connect with those interested in exploring more comprehensive views of their digestive system, and the intricate connection it has to their nervous system and emotional landscape.
We will approach your session with an open mind and follow wherever your process takes us. You can think of me as a co-journeyer in your experience. The body is the storehouse for all experience, whether emotional, physiological, or energetic. When one engages with their body through process, one can possibly tap into past memories, stored trauma, and energetic patterns, potentially freeing up more space in one’s life.
There’s something taboo about the physiological process of excrement (people don’t want to talk about their sh-t!). This area can be a place of “holding” for people. The more one can deepen their relationship to this natural process and tap into their sensory experience, the more they can unwind adverse patterns that can cause dis-ease.
What Led Me to Work in Natural Medicine?
Undergoing many rites of healing myself (some of which are definitely still in process) has led me on a lifelong path of self and human inquiry. Colon hydrotherapy came when I was dealing with chronic digestive issues. Through this modality, I understood that my relationship to my nervous system was largely at play. Through many years of study and healing work, I have found myself at Tummy Temple, surrounded by an array of gifted women, and have become more settled into my role as a practitioner.
