This is a bioidentical hormone replacement therapy in the form of compounded pellets that are inserted into the body subcutaneously in a quick and simple in-office procedure. These pellets will gradually be absorbed, dispersing hormones throughout the body at a continuous rate to alleviate the rollercoaster effects other types of hormone replacement therapy can cause. After the procedure you do not need to think about taking your hormone daily, pellets last from 3-6 months depending on the person and the dosage - so you may only need to have the procedure twice a year!
