Chi Nei Tsang E-mail

Chi Nei Tsang (pronounced chee-nay-song) originated in Taoist China and is a holistic approach to massage therapy integrating work that addresses the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of oneself. The words Chi Nei Tsang literally mean "working with the energy of the internal organs" or "internal organs chi transformation". Chi Nei Tsang also utilizes the principles of Chi-Kung chi cultivation exercises through movement and meditation - and is sometimes considered achibodyz form of "applied Chi-Kung".

Chi Nei Tsang practitioners work mainly in the abdominal area with deep, soft and gentle manual techniques in order to tonify, detoxify, and train the internal organs to work more efficiently. All of the body systems are addressed with Chi Nei Tsang including digestion, respiration, lymph, nervous, endocrine, urinary, reproductive, musculo-skeletal, and the acupuncture energy system.

More specifically:

1. CNT detoxifies: CNT manipulations help clients relieve their body of excess fluid and energy stagnation. It improves elimination and stimulates the large intestine, as well as the lymphatic and blood circulation systems. It also strengthens the immune system and resistance to disease. Chi Nei Tsang is an excellent adjunct to detoxification therapies such as colon hydrotherapy, and for those undergoing nutritional changes.

2. CNT restructures and strengthens the body: By working with the visceral organs and various supportive connective tissues, CNT stimulates the organs to function more efficiently and can help correct postural problems resulting from visceral adhesion and imbalance. Chronic musculo-skeletal pain patterns are often relieved and eliminated with CNT

3. CNT helps to deal better with one's emotional life: The basic premise here is that our non- processed or unexamined emotional life is stored in our connective tissue system, muscles and digestive organs waiting to be addressed. Therefore, poor "emotional digestion" is one of the reasons for poor health. With directed breath work, Chi Kung exercises, and the manual therapy aspects of CNT the processing of one's emotional life begins to unfold and clarify. This makes it possible for individuals to evolve and grow in the direction of their better self. CNT is often used in combination with psychotherapy or other personal growth modalities.
